Trading Tools for day trading

Tools which I use in trading and not only

Considering that I deal with daytrading on US Stocks Markets from 2007 (and with capital markets generally from 2004), I used a lot of various programs, platforms and trading tools which assist my trading. It also regards all related subjects – what complements my trading in other fields. I recommend reviewing!

Please note that the set of following tools is good for me, but whether will be good for you – it depends on your needs. Below you will find a list of tools which I use or used in the past, and seem to be worth attention. Some of them was or will be described in more detail on BeDayTrader.com (appropriately below it will be linked to review or description of a given program or service).

The most recommended by me

I will start with my TOP 4 when it comes to trading. The following I most often use and it’s my recommended TOP 4 of most important that meets my needs associated with trading. Thanks to them my trading is better and more effective.

RemoteDayTrader Group – for years I used services of numerous proptrading companies. Based on experience I decided, in cooperation with one of the most respected companies, to establish own proptrading group – RemoteDayTrader Group. It is currently the largest group, which offers proptrading in Poland. Thanks to that I trade on a very low commission level. Of course, we are focused on American stock exchanges – NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX.

Interactive Brokers – it is one of the largest and oldest brokers, which offer access to American stock exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX and Pink Sheets (OTC – Bulletin Board). I recommend particularly to persons who search for a reliable broker, have a larger capital for trading, and they care about great availability of playing on short positions. Interactive Brokers also provides a low level of commissions.

Stocks Scanners

I very often mention that I can't imagine trading without use of scanners. It is for me an unimaginable saving of time and at the same time a way for better results in trading.

Financial Visualizations – very interesting scanner of shares, which can be viewed online (free version delayed; version without delay paid). I use it very often for the session preparation. Basically when it comes to content – it has everything what is needed in one place 🙂

News platform

I used many systems of news, which in terms of price are affordable. Among these platforms, I eventually selected following, which doesn’t mean that other available on the market are not worth attention. Just this platform is best for me in terms of the quality/rate to the price.

Charts

Apart from charts, which are automatically built in platforms used by me, I very often find support in other service/platforms for analysis of charts.

FreeStockCharts – free service that offers graphs analysis of companies listed on American stock exchanges of NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX. For me it is a nice interface, I like to use this site more than graphs built in my platforms 🙂

FloatingCharts – system to support viewing graphs on many monitors. It’s a perfect solution for persons who use many monitors and MetaTrader 4 platforms.

 

BigCharts – very similar service to above, its advantage is that it also offers graphs of companies listed on Pink Sheets and OTC-BB.
